Simply the best aftermarket lower available. I tested now Handl, Stryker and X-Products and stuck with this one. - The machining is flawless, no tool marks of any kind. It takes a rubber mallet to seat it the first few times but once you take it to the range it molds to your upper and its removable like normal. - It’s solid, no wiggling or gaps. - The anodizing is top-notch. The color is even and looks great (identical to PMM which is a plus since I used their safety levels, battery device etc). It withholds abuse, I’ve dropped it, scrapped against rocks, trees and used every manner of cleaning compounds on it (even the super harsh break free) and the color has never faded or become discolored. - Weight is barely noticeable and it makes the rifle feel sturdy. The recoil seems tempered with the extra weight but that could just be anecdotal. - This thing has handled all magazines flawlessly (I can’t say the same for others, each one seemed to favor a particular brand, usually P-Mags.) This lower worked with every vendor I tossed at it. Magazines tested: IMI Defense 25, P-Mag 10/20/25 and the new D50 drum. Lancer L7 20/25. Hexmag 20/25 (had a fail to feed but it was the magazine, the follower sucked.) X-Products 50 round drum. Promag 10/20. Beta C-Mag 100 drum (this was a blast). DPMS steel 10/20. Almost 1,500 rounds on it and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in the market for a new lower, this is the BEST. Money well spent. Also the turn around was fantastic, no more waiting 9+ months for a lower from other vendors. Thank you HDD!

I just received the complete HDD lower. I just cannot say enough good things about it. The owner of the company personally took my call and customize the item for me without additional charge. This company truly appreciate the customer and makes sure they get the BEST. The complete lower is simply the best for my SCAR 17.

Nice tight fit and works flawlessly, best aftermarket part I have bought for my Scar.

I have tried four different aluminum lowers for the Scar 17 and the HDD SOAR-10 is the best, nice fit with no air gap or rattle, all the lower parts fit without having to modify them, pistol grips fit right on and all the mags available for the SR25/M110/P-mag type guns fit and function without a hitch. I also bought the SOAR-H556 conversion lower for my Scar and it also is great, 5 stars easy.
